OUR TOP 10 HAIR TIPS...
- Use plenty of hair gel or hairspray!
- Freshly washed hair is very hard to manage. Unwashed, slightly damp hair is best.
- Hair pins are for bun making.
- Bobby pins are for securing loose ends, bangs & hairpieces.
- "Pin as you go." Put hair pins in as you wrap the hair in a bun (see video!)
- Select hair pins, hair nets, elastics & bobby pins that match your hair color.
- Pull hair up & off the face & neck for photos, dress rehearsal & the performance.
- Make several trial runs with hair & makeup prior to the photo shoot.
- Secure tendrils or short pieces to the side of the head.
- Short Hair – Pull the sides back so they won’t fall in your face or create shadows.
- BONUS TIP: For Dress Rehearsal & the Performance: Remove all jewelry (except wedding bands), nail polish, hair ornaments (beads, colored clips, adornments like ribbons/flowers that are not part of the costume) & temporary tattoos.
